The Process…

Curled up with my iPad and steamy cups of coffee, I crafted a meld of images that capture the special bits of Salem and the delight of Halloween.

I felt particularly inspired by native New England plants, carved pumpkins, historic buildings, and tiny critters.

Nostalgia crept up during the process, and I couldn’t help but be drawn to deep purples, greens, and oranges that remind me of classic Halloween.

I always feel more alive during the moody temperament of the season, and so the result is this collection, which I’m calling Midnight Salem.
